An article on MSN raises the issue on climate change and in a study that pointed at the extension of the tropical zones between the Equator and polewards till the sub-tropics towards temperate areas.
While such a change is likely to have devastating consequences on the environment, populations, ecosystems and biodiversity, it will also leave geography students to change their learning materials on what is initially defined as the tropics.
