God is faithful.
This week has felt really long, amidst screw-ups, punishments, 'saikang' work, guard duty and obstacle course.
There was fear. But 2 Timothy 1:7 says,
"For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline."
There was anxiety. But Philippians 4:6 says,
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
There wasn't courage. But Joshua 1:9 says,
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
There wasn't hope. But Philippians 4:13 says,
"I can do everything through him who gives me strength."
Just as Proverbs 29:25 says,
"Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe."
I have been kept safe.
