I asked my dad and he said that July-August is the typhoon season in Hong Kong, which means I'm going to 'witness' the first typhoon of the season: Conson.
There's a typhoon-level system in place, and just this evening, HK Observatory gave a level 1 warning. Showers are expected over the next few days. Interestingly, HK is about 400km away from the predicted storm track.
Exciting as it is, as hard as nature is to predict, let's pray that my flight on Saturday will not be affected by Conson.
Oh, and I can't wait for church this Sunday.
