Turn my eyes away from worthless things;
preserve my life according to your word.
I read this off The Daily Bible Verse. It amazes me how much this verse actually speaks to me.
In the light of all the visual appeals, sensationalism and feel-good nature of many allures of this world, I think we all need to focus on our God.
God, please help me to focus on what is important.
Habakkuk 3:19 will essentially summarise my future weeks to come as my new course begins:
The Sovereign LORD is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to go on the heights.
Jesus, let me run like a deer and soar like an eagle!
