I remember browsing through photos of the New York High Line on National Geographic and posted the album link on Facebook. Robert Hammond and Joshua David in Friends of the High Line are really brilliant people, who took pains to preserve something so close to the heart of New Yorkers, when many others wanted to tear it down.
I love how a whole new public space has been created in place of a run-down, abandoned facility that runs right through the heart of Manhattan. Perhaps, our Singapore railway can be transformed to such beauty as well?
